Violence - An open letter to the Arts Council

Under the deep red light, I can see the makeup sliding down,
Hey little girl, you will always make up, So take off that unbecoming frown.

Take your hands off me.

Fresh from their hit five star show at this years Edinburgh Fringe festival the Eat Your Heart Out collective present their newest show Violence; an exploration into a world of brutality and chaos, enter at your own risk.

Over 3 days the collective will turn the infamous cabaret venue: RVT into a topsy turvy world of violent vignettes and disorderly displays. Violence is conceived and directed by EYHO Artistic Director Scottee, his vision is to create a show where the role of audience member and performer is blurred, your also likely to get your mobile phone nicked.
This isn't a Christmas show, Its a show at Christmas. Cabaret come promenade meets live art come musical.

Starring the cream of the UK's emerging visual art scene:
Scottee, Dickie Beau, Myra Dubois,  Miss Annabel Sings, Helen Noir, Masumi Tipsy, Nando Messias & Spencer Wood

Cognitive: In conversation

This is a development to the piece I presented earlier this year. I removed all performance aspects of
the piece and offered only conversation in exchange for lies, confession and apology.

Interactive performance. The Royal Dalston Hotel, 14th & 15th October 2010.

BUY A BETTER YOU | 11TH & 18th NOVEMBER

A one (wo)man musical tragedy in collaboration with Warboy & Stewart.

BABY is an exploration into Scottee's childhood, a collection of songs about his
fat Mum, drunk Dad and turbulent times in a pram. This isn't yet another
performance artist handing over their baggage, its a lesson in how he came to be
and how he survived a few murder attempts.

'.. I'd trade truffles for cuddles, a cookie for a kiss.
Wine for a simple smile, even sausage, egg, beans and chips
for Mothers love every time'

BABY first aired in 2008 at UnderConstruction since then she's been
hiding under a duvet, scoffing her face with Maltesers but she's plucked
up the courage and she back, bigger than ever.

'Scottee's control is that of the music hall greats... quick wit and spontaneity'

'It's as if he's gone off the end of the pier, dredged the waters and returned bearing
slime with a glint in his eye. He puts on one hell of a show'
