Preparations for my solo show MESS are underway. Its a little schizophrenic sometimes working solo, your constantly having arguments with yourself and end up persuading yourself its a good idea. I also seem to spend ages talking about it and never 'rehearsing' - i mean why would I need to rehearse something thats in my head and I know what I'm going to do?

Im going to be posting little snippets like this as a diary of thoughts / process, more for my own benifit but I'm planning to get some Arts money next year and I think having the process documented will help me get across my ideas.

Eat Your Heart Out on the road.

I've decided to take my performance party on the road, Not that I don't think London deserves a little bit of 'avant' from time to time, but we must not forget the rest of 'Great' Britain. Burlesque has seemed to claim the lives of those in Brighton & Bristol, so where else better to start.

RCA Secrets. This year I have two pieces in the RCA secrets show. Show runs in Gulbenkian Gallery, Royal College from 13th - 20th November. 2700 pieces go on sale on 21st November and all profits go towards the Fine Art Student fund. But which ones are mine? www.rca.ac.uk/secret

MESS Tickets are now onsale for my first solo show in over a year - Mess! A collection of work I've developed over the last 12months, Mess explores the decline of human nature, as all eyes are on the major drug companies to produce vaccines against H1N1 - swine flu.

Im really looking forward to this show, its going to be really physically demanding but will hopefully answer a few questions on the way.
